Three steps to connect

Both colleagues need their own Windows 11 PC.
  1. Host shares the ID

Colleague A runs Host, completes the approval setting above, and reads their RustDesk ID to colleague B.

  2. Viewer requests access

Colleague B runs Viewer, enters A's ID in the remote desktop box, and selects Connect. Leave password fields empty.

  3. Host clicks Accept

A checks that the request is from their colleague, then clicks Accept. Only approve the person you intend to help you.

End the session on the host: use the Disconnect / End session control in the active RustDesk session. At the end of the visit, use RustDesk’s Exit action (including the tray menu if needed) so the host stops receiving requests.
